Designed by Frank Todd, Landscape Architect, Rowley, MA, Cassidy Bros. Forge was commissioned to create this 3 foot diameter compass rose. And Frank’s design specified that we were to create this from one piece of 2-3/4 inch thick bluestone.
From the landscape architect’s architectural drawing, our in-house engineering staff created the AutoCAD line design. We printed the AutoCAD design full size for the client to review.
And then we began the work… etching, cutting, fitting, polishing…
